Under The Moon & Stars

Under The Moon & Stars

A Poem by A. Musing
"

Meeting someone you feel you have known from lives before.

"

And then, I think
We were never really lost to each other
But merely had our own journeys to complete
Our own adventures to be had
Our own battles to fight
Our own demons to conquer
So that when we finally meet
Somewhere under the moon and stars
We can spend the rest of eternity just talking
Or in silence
Content with the peace and tranquility
After a lifetime of storms.

very emotive for me! one can not help but think of an elevated love larger than self at work here ;) no better place for it to unfold than under the moon and stars :) nice pic to go with says i ..love and happiness seems to require a certain amount of chaos, confusion and pain to bring us to that bigger love .. deja' vous experiences seem to sharpen our intuitive resources and helps us pay attention to such mysteries .. i like the free form ..very smooth reading ... strong theme and story in few lines .. the humanness and honesty precludes the need for anything flowery and scented or colored ;) its just nitty gritty with a big dream attached :))))))))

some connections can never be severed, some connections happen so fast it seems a result of previous acquaintance:) That feeling of speaking without words is a rare occurrence and one that is so precious to have nice lines... Muse

This feels like the meeting of soul mates to me. When you've just met someone new and yet you feel you have known the other for eternity. A rare occurrence yet I believe it happens. Perfect contentment. The missing piece of the puzzle found. First one of yours I have read. Welcome to WC A Musing. Good to read you.

You are very welcome and I wish you well here.

Growth and maturity allow us to really appreciate what's important and allows us to fully open our hearts to another. I look back on my younger years and just shake my head at the stupid mistakes I made, the relation-ships that sunk in hopeless harbor (thank God!). The peace and tranquility is what we all come to need, what we have needed all along.

"So that when we finally *met* - s/b *meet*

Such an expression of understanding of the journey that sometimes must be traveled before we reach the destination we long for. Then to know that the times of despir and the storms they wrought are at last behind.
