Prologue: Meet Lucasta

Learn a bit about Lucasta and what she's like.

Trust is when you can be confident someone will come through for you. It's when you believe in someone to the best you can. It's when you can rely on someone and not regret it. It's something that all relationships are built on. It's also something I don't have. I don't trust anyone. I can't. It's simply impossible. I can't trust anyone. Not since the incident happened.

You might be wondering, who am I? Who is the girl that has lost faith in all humankind? Well, if you must know, my name is Lucasta.

I have no parents. They both abandoned me when I was a baby, leaving me alone with an old woman who took care of me until I turned 8. I was told that my father was killed by his so-called friend. Just another example of how you can't trust people. Even the people in the orphanages abandoned me. I live on my own in a small house I built from my own hard work. I am only 14, but I know how to take care of myself.

Although the rest of the young element-casters are nothing like me, I cope nonetheless. So in conclusion, trust? I just can't do it.

What suggestions?? It's good! But... it sounds a bit like mine... OH WELL!! I have to ramble on, so I get points!! I got one!!! Let's list the differences between mine and yours. My person is 16 but yours is 14. My person's parents... I'll stop, because that's a spoiler and I'm pretty close to having another point and there we go!!! (2 points)
