Entering the darkness

Entering the darkness

A Story by Sam
"

Deep and dark written to show a friend a darker side I'm experimenting with

"
Lying awake in the darkness of an empty bed
Hearing whispers coming from inside your head telling you "how could you ever expect someone to like you" and "all you do is wrong"
Trying not to think much of it, you turn the other cheek
But eventually You become accustom to the whispers until they turn into ugly yells of those you despise. Maybe an old lover or an angry father. "You will never do anything great" "you'll never be good enough" "hideous on the inside and out"
All the while you cover your ears wanting to rip them out
As they are laughing at your struggle
That horrid laugh of the devil himself
One can never become accustom to something as evil as that laugh
Right at the moment you see fire and smoke arising from the corner,
You hear the blood pouring laugh just mocking your entire existence
