Time's Rhythm

Time's Rhythm

A Poem by Sean

Time’s Rhythm

The trees that once covered me have fallen

Deep into the trance of light

Never ending winter

Take my hand, lead me out of the wasteland

The signs are fading

The skies are failing

The light is losing

Time is beating faster…

Touch my hand and I’ll feel again

Are there stars that still burn with life?

Hold me until the sun rises again

Will there be another chance?

Breathe into me and I can see again

Tell me, is there truth left to be found?

I call out just to hear your voice

Will you let me be there if you fall?

The path is disappearing

The air is getting thin

The balance is spinning

Time is beating faster…
