Raw Justice

Raw Justice

A Poem by Sean

Raw Justice

Authority says I'm a wandering charlatan

No more room for my kind, over done

Executionary ways of speaking how

Their ways don't even raise a brow

Contradictory ways to open eyes

Overpowered by the silent cries

A world held over by unjust laws

Society's made, there's no more thinking of

The raw justice, it will swallow me

Consuming all in agony

The raw justice, gripping tighter still

No more room to breathe, eaten by the power's will

It can't see, it can't feel

It doesn't care, before it, kneel

Bow down to suppression's easy ways

Stare at the world through a beaten haze

Opposition of it shot to hell

None from inside left to yell

Suppression of the corruption from within

Eating its own life to feed the path to sin

The raw justice, born into agony

Holding new life through tragedy

The raw justice, puts its chains on new

New life from where it's power grew
