Memories of Hell

Memories of Hell

A Poem by Sean

Memories of Hell

Wooden beams of thought

Break through the glassy lies

And every time I die

On those long nights when you cry

Raining down with aching

Glistening light in your eyes

Your tears drop into mine

Haunting colors inside

Elements of the universe bond

Stars collide in turmoil

Winter winds chill the summer bones

Until their tears have frozen

Petal showers brighten with sun

Each drop of blood raises a new one

Take it all under a cloth cover

The memories of hell still fresh in mind
