Living Pain

 

This pain, I need this

It’s what keeps me alive

It’s what keeps me sane

The pain of living is what makes me alive

But it’s this pain of living that says to die

 

When I look in the sky I see your eyes

When I feel the cold I feel your touch, killing me

The distant cosmic feeling of death

A pain worse than imagination

 

So distant from everyone around

Bleeding my tears from my skin

Dripping like the rain from the sky

This pain of life that keeps me alive

This living pain that won’t die
