Goodbye

 

I can feel myself dying from the inside

Like being eaten away by poison

I see everything dear fading away

Like the long forgotten sun in the distance

 

I’ve pulled myself so far

Dragged across the ground for years

Everything stripped from me and thrown away

Nothing left to gain, so why not lose it all?

 

Shards of my being being chipped away

Like rock under a waterfall

The love in my heart dying

Like the blackness created by a cancer

 

I’ve lived in this life too long

Pulled through all the torments there are

I’ve lost everything I ever loved

There’s nothing left but goodbye…
