Away

Away

A Poem by Sean

Away

I lie awake, wishing to be someone else

Who will remember me when I’m gone?

What will I have done for this world?

The soul taken from me would not even be missed.

Nothing, and that’s why

Standing alone tonight

Dreams falling from the sky – breaking over my head

Blood runs down my arms – soaking all around

Fading to black this time – all my friends dead

Increasingly more distant, my mind drives me away

I push so hard and I can’t get away

I force myself to the edge…to the end…but they pull me back

Why even try when I want to die?

Oh my friend ,you should not say that..who will remember me..
How funny ,the good and beautiful minds and souls always lament and think how good for nothing they are
they are the non movers, they never stir waves in this big ocean of life..Its always the bad and the bullies
that move things ,they are the movers ,they who stir waves and they will be remembered..how cruel is history
and our stupid memories..
I see a sea of men..they move down there in front of me coming and going..they never please me,they feel so dark
among them like shiny spots that move slow but you see a glow around them, they lighten a very big space around
I could spot some very good souls almost forgotten ,among some very evil black souls,so many they, they take all the scene
still my friend its those few bright small lights that make life bearable..that still make me hang on to hope to life
loved your write..
