Lose Myself..

Lose Myself..

A Poem by MusicMyLife

Crying tears of blood,
The heart races like a greyhound,
Dreams fading,
Like the snow,
When the rain hits its inner core,

The stars are masked,
Brittle and cold,
Losing there shape,
Growing old,
Like me,
My eyes can barely see,
I am like an old animal,
Trying to learn new tricks,
Under the rain,
It washes away my pain,
There is no place better to be...

I lose myself in the hysteria,
Of panic and prosperity,
Panic overrides me,
Love sinks like a boat,
Blasted by bullets and the sea,
Please contain me,
I am angry,
The rage pulsates..

I loved her,
Like romeo loved juliet,
I scream out for her,
But she closes her ears,
Switches them off,
My fears,
Have risen from the depths,
All these years,
Chasing a dream,
Trying to redeem,
Myself..

Trying to catch the light,
That encases her,
I need an infusion,
Of love and desire,
But she walks armored,
And safe,
I walk,
With a target point on my head..

I lose myself in the hysteria,
Of panic and prosperity,
Panic overrides me,
Love sinks like a boat,
Blasted by bullets and the sea,
Please contain me,
I am angry,
The rage pulsates..
