Nine Lives...

Nine Lives...

A Poem by MusicMyLife

You walk under the moonlight,
And you lose one of your nine lives,
After cutting yourself on shard of paper,
The note,
That God wrote,
Your heart filling up with tears,
From the eyes of your lungs,
You grab a parachute,
Made from old rags,
And you glide,
With your guts intact,
To the middle of nowhere..

Hold yourself up,
Prevent yourself from falling,
Your looking for glory,
But your dreams are filled with hidden scars,
That decide to pop out,
Your not going far,
Open your lungs and shout..

The story so far,
Is corroded with pain,
The heart of love is fractured,
The silence is deadly,
You refrain from fighting,
Your jewel of grace is blinding,
I can see a breakthrough,
A few holes in the wall,
You can get through,
And when you do,
Scream for me...

There is history,
Between us,
There is mystery in your life,
I dreamt last night,
That your were giving the key,
To my heart..

Hold yourself up,
Prevent yourself from falling,
Your looking for glory,
But your dreams are filled with hidden scars,
That decide to pop out,
Your not going far,
Open your lungs and shout..
