Painful Woes..

Painful Woes..

A Poem by MusicMyLife

The face in the mirror,
I don't know him,
He's a stranger,
A frame so broken,
A body hurt,
A caged man,
Grappling onto the sinew,
Of everything he has fought for,
And her that has pulled the strings in his heart,
These painful woes are just the start..

Pain knocks on the door,
The worry starts to sting,
Like a blade cutting skin,
Its visage so cold,
With hands like spikes,
Ready to strike,
He cant find the fight,
His lovebird on another step,
At the top of the ladder,
He stands below,
Trying to climb,
But his limbs are giving way,
He is not as young as he used to be,
No energy, no life,
No chance to thrive,
In a world created by a devil..
