I'll Love You Until The Day The World Dies.A Poem by MusicMyLifeJuts about finding a photograph of loved one, tears fall, but love does prevail..
My hands tremble,
As i see the photograph, Her hands grip me, Grapple onto me, She is like a blanket, Perfumed and soft, She is a lighthouse, A beacon of hope.. My heart shakes, My lungs gasp, My feelings razor sharp, My head feels like a stone, A brick, Strung up, Hovering over a photograph, The tears so thick.. A note lays upon the picture, Written in ink, The water from my eyes, Is washing it away, But i caught the ending, ''I'll love you until the day the world dies'' The room is cold, We shiver, Trying to find light, In our souls, The chairs we sit on, Were built a hundred years ago, in a room so empty, Your lips so tempting.. My mind starts to think, About the times we had, When we were younger, When our life's were open to error, But now we are older, We see evil for what its worth, We see a world so cold, So old, Dying in the arms of us all.. A note lays upon the picture, Written in ink, The water from my eyes, Is washing it away, But i caught the ending, ''I'll love you until the day the world dies'' © 2011 MusicMyLifeAuthor's Note
