Blurb about a hot topic. I'm sure we all could write passionately about the injustice of plagiarism--I know I could. I will never side with someone who commits such atrocity--this website is for people who want to share their thoughts.

So, share your own thoughts, write your story, be yourself.

It's true, when we write, we want to express ourselves. I don't see much of a point in taking someone else's self-expression and claiming it your own, even if the words seem to suit the situation.
It's one thing to sing somebody else's song and admit it, but craving attention this much to try and take them away? That's pitiful, really.
I like the rhyme scheme and the flow you used, now let's hope it doesn't get stolen, though it'd be worth it ;-)

I totally agree with what you said about singing a person's song. I can belt Taylor Swift in my shower, but those are her words and her relationships, not mine.

I think most writers on here would rather be bombarded with Read Requests than have someone use their words :)

That's right. Everybody loves to sing or sing along to the songs they like, but they admit to covering them. They don't claim what isn't theirs.
And I suppose you are right ;-)
