Lost in a forest of confusion. A lonely travelor has lost his way. Now he's reached a fork in the road. Two choices lay before him, but only one decision to make. It's not the choice of right or wrong or good or bad. It is of what could be verses what already is. Once he has chosen, he cannot turn back. He can only go forward, into the darkness. But, which path will you choose?
Well, that's me, for sure! Ignoring the traffic of time bearing down in the distance I stand there in the middle of the crossroads, trying to decide if I just made a deal with the devil or if it was only my imagination and frustration venting silently inside me. Is that me, talking only to myself, or is it perhaps really someone (or something) else? Being lost... having to make choices... scares the beejeezus out of me!
I almost always end up on the road less traveled...
Not sure if it's by my own decision, or one that is subconsciously laid on me by someone else.. delightful read!!
Makes you wonder about the choices we always make. Two paths...a difficult decision that can change the course of what will happen. Truly motivational.
This reminds me so much of Robert Frost "Road Not Taken" ... a poem that helped mold my writing style since a younge girl at 7 when I discovered my gifts.
There are many different roads in life that we always face, which job, where to go to school ect. Facing these paths can be a hard challenge! Well written!
I've never really shared my writing with many people, never thought I was really any good I guess. But, I love writing and have been writing for forever. That and music and art are my passions. You wo.. more..
