The dying of summer

The dying of summer

A Poem by Music-of-Silence

A colored leaf sinks to the bottom of the lake. The same lake that summer memories collide and flourish. The long awaited refreshment of knowledge and social settings appearing again in a colorful town. The color created by the dying of trees, the dying of summer. The end of our freedom and laziness. The "knowledge void" ready to over flow again. The dead color lying on the ground, being stepped on and trampled by the striding bystander unaware of the screaming life below. Slowly dying as crumpled pieces.
