You thought like no one could.

When innocence was always there,

The seas were in the skies

I just wish I was as carefree as a little girl again.

I wish I could be as carefree as a little girl too. I play with them when I can, which unfortunately isn't that often, and it's amazing to see how they develop over the years. How they go from being carefree, to worrying, developing empathy etc. Fascinating to me as someone who has always been interested in biology, and behaviour, but at the same time sad, because I'd rather they didn't grow up, and I wish I could go back.
