The Boat and the Bridge

The Boat and the Bridge

A Poem by Mushion
"

I wrote this when I was bored. It started out as a children's poem, but since I have a dark and twisted mind, it kind of went off track... myah. And it's not very good, I know...

"
Once upon a time there was a boat
Just relaxing on the stream
keeping himself a float
Drifting with his team

And then there was the bridge
Lonely in hanging in the air
only functioning as a passage
with no company there.

I could tell you that
the boat took pity on the bridge
that they had a chat
and kindliness would be the message

But life is very unfair
and the boat is mean
He leaves the bridge there
Never to be seen

And the bridge is still in place
lonely as a cloud
partaking in this awful race
Forever outside of the crowd
