The Never Ending Chase

The Never Ending Chase

A Poem by Mushion
"

A poem to be interpreted in many different ways.

"
It doesn't matter how hard you're running
It always catches up with you
Even if you're so smart and cunning
It knows your moves before you do

Like a shadow it keeps chasing
Sometimes large and sometimes small
It always keeps up with your pacing
Until it doesn't matter at all

It embraces you in his arms
Makes you feel so safe
It tries to seduce you with his charms
Eventually you'll cave

And at once he lets you go
Making you feel so free
As clean as fresh fallen snow
Until in the corner of your eye you see

And the chase starts up again

This is a wonderful poem left up to our own interpretations. I particularly like the style.

Fantastic poem! I really like the ambiguity of it, allowing everyone their own perceptions of this piece.
