I Miss You

This is written about someone I miss and love but know will be back again soon. All I can think about is what I miss; and try to forget any fumbles we'd made along the way in our silly debates... Making it harder till they are back again....

i lay here

cold and numb

unsure of what

was truely said.

your whispers in the distance

still play and echo in my head.

 

of all the things you said to me

of all the crazy days

why is it i remember

the ones i wish would fade?

i know you'll be back soon

but its just so hard to wait

 every question left unanswered

until your home it all can wait.

 

my friends all guess and wonder

how long i'll last without you

here to hug each day

but its worth it

because i know when

you return we'll

be better in a way.

i cant wait till you've returned

and think of this a lesson learnt

when your gone i miss you.

no sad memory left unburnt.
