Without You

Without You

A Poem by Em North

its cold out these days

and i miss you .

the nights are lonlier than ever

most times i lay and dream of you

belonging to another.

even as the spring airs warm

my heart stays cold and sore

wishing i didnt need you

you are all i think of anymore

even as i lay here

captivated by no sounds

i realize without you my love

means nothin and slowly my heart drowns.

to think that i still love you

after all the trouble made

to think i still care about you

though its been my heart

each time that breaks.

i'm not sure why i wrote this but my pen is fading fast.

just like my faint heart beat

without you, how could it last?

so here i guess i'll say goodbye

though theres so much more to say

to finnish one last sentence:

i wish we hadn't turned out this way...

Yes its hard to let go of the past love
but the most important part is to learn from it all
good thing you know its time to let go.
Good poem.

Best wishes.
