O Mater LunaA Poem by Cassiopia SummersInspired by a book series I am reading, Daughters of the Moon.O Mater Luna, Regina mas, adiuvo me nunc. O Mother Moon would you please bestow upon me your wondrous gifts? Teach me the wonders of your beautiful nights. Reveal to me each whisper of wisdom, each word of truth. Give me the power to withstand all my fears shadows bring. O Mater Luna, Regina mas, aduivo me nunc. I wish to be born from you, so give me the strength I need. I cherish you my mother, and for you it is the truth I seek. Someone once whispered to me, Tu es dea, filia lunae. O Mother Moon, do you agree? Am I your daughter moon? O Mater Luna, Regina mas, adiuvo nunc. O Mother Moon, Queen of the night, help me now. Tu es dea, filia lunae. You are a goddess, a Daughter of the Moon. Mother Moon, would you please, make me a Daughter of you. © 2010 Cassiopia SummersAuthor's Note
