A Growing CrushA Poem by Cassiopia SummersHaha, 9th grade poem as well. I remember because this is about my friend Freddie. We walk together through the halls, our arms brush, I feel it, but do you? I glance up just as you peek down and your smile brightens my day. Just as quickly as I look up, I look down the heat rushing to my cheeks turning them pink. You realize and put your arms around my shoulders, sending me the secret I've been waiting for. We reach your locker and you drop your arm, even though it's gone I can still feel its weight. I silently watch you as you gather your things, you feel my eyes. You zip your back pack and slowly turn around, wrapping your arms around me. You slightly pull back and lean in slowly, I feel our lips brush. I look up and you smile, our eyes twinkle and then it hits me.
My crush on you is growing stronger. © 2010 Cassiopia SummersAuthor's Note
