Broken

I wrote this in 9th grade when my ex broke up with me, this is how it went down too.

As I search for reason in those deep brown eyes,

I realize you're serious and my world comes crashing down.

My breathe fails me and I am soon drowning in my own despair.

The thought of my hand to never lie in yours,

your arms to never wrap around me when my heart is boiling over in anger or fright.

My heart splits, but then I remember that I love you and....

 

My heart shatters.

 

I look down fighting my tears, my eyes brimming with the pain of lost love,

as I begin walking away I whisper back unintentionally,

 

I Love You.

Haha, I really did whisper over my shoulder when I was walking away, I didn't mean to, but it screwed him up because "he didn't want to hurt me" or so it was said. But whatever it happened more than two years ago, I'm over it.

Young love. This was very nice, I have the good fortune of never having a broken heart, but i know plenty of people who have so i realize the pain. People dont realize the effect they have on others till after somthing like this happens and then they dont always realize it. The only good thing that comes of this is that the person will eventually find who their meant to be with : )

Everyone feels broken sooner or later! Something happens that we can never get back. Especially when it comes to love someone is going to get hurt or someone is going to hurt. Either way it's always the same sometimes you love someone and they don't feel the same way so your broken XD good poem and even better points made in them nice job!
