Beauty of Evil
A Poem by
Cassiopia Summers
I saw the moonlight, play across his face, so beautiful was he and full of grace. A look of sincerity, my breathe all but gone, was that a grin of evil he had on? One swift kiss was all it took, to find my weakness, my life's nook. The piercing sensation faded and dimmed, while my life's blood puckered and brimmed. I lay there helpless wondering why me? Why couldn't this beauty of Evil just let me be? Suddenly surrounded by fire and rage, why did I feel like my body had become my cage? One quick nick, abruptly I knew, the humans life blood, my new brew.

i'm not exactly a fan of vampires, but this was pretty good. so two thumbs up for that. some rhymes were a bit forced, but that's a problem most of us have, so, it doesn't really count that much. great job. [:

Nice vamp poem. I like the rhymes you used to, they never sounded forsed. First stanza was a really good opener. Well done.

A grin of evil, huh? And it still draws you in?
Hehehe, very interesting, and caters to the part of me that feeds on the occult and dangerous nature of something both forbidden and beautiful.
Why couldn't this beauty of Evil
just let me be?
A description befitting the poem :)

I like this. A very nicely written vampire poem with just right about of darkness in it to make it dark and sinister but not all blood and gore. Very nice job.
