Conveyor belt

Conveyor belt

A Poem by Kate

One after another
Holding my breath
What are you staring at?
A conveyor belt
Water splashing
Blood pouring
Blotches of red
Over my legs
My head buzzing
A room spinning
Bacterial spit spat
Over a spittoon
From mouths of crackheads
In a terribly confined space
My tiny nippy frame
Moves faster faster
Than a racer in a video game
To feed the boss's bank
With fantastical wealth
