Waves of sounds

Waves of sounds

A Poem by Kate

Melting on waves of sounds
The sun bright in my eyes
The guitar stroking my bones
The world buzzing with life
A skirt covers my thighs
And tells tales of the past
Casting shadows
Tree crowns are
Over graves of barren yards
Where death and birth
Whirl dust
Into a mocking farce

The poetry made me want to know more dear Kate. The poem was visionary and I could feel the sadness in your words. A mocking farce. I liked these words. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
