Lustre

Lustre

A Poem by Kate

His skin on mine
Stars flashing above
Lustre in his eyes
Lips licked, ajar
Adipose tissue melts
Under the warmth
Of our hearts
Breath
Peppermint fresh
The room sways
To the right to the left
Like hips
To melodies
Knitting a life
Of laughter and cries
I love thee, my one and only
Other half
