Friday

Friday

A Poem by Kate

The sound of sea
Splashing my feet
Rinsing my mouth
With salty, divine bouts
Friday vibes
Erase nightmares and doubts
Back on track
Back in a silky bed
At last hugging calm
Within the partner's arms
I feel pacified
By this solace to my mind

Gee
How different Friday's to Mondays, a week's toil done, fun and relaxation ahead with those that we love and care for.
Enjoyed the read Kate

Thank you 🙏❤️
What a lovely thing, to have someone to cuddle with in silky sheets. No matter what happens in the future, treasure that you have this now.

I love your work. I hope you keep writing. I adore your poetry.
I am surprised no one commented on this. This felt good to read, at long last to be together again. Nicely penned.
