Sheep

Sheep

A Poem by Kate

They walk like sheep
Expression-free
No eye contact, just screens
The sun is dying in between
Her hair so sleek, curl-free
They stream onto trains
In flocks of mundane routine
In and out
An emotionless flee
I am shrivelled
Stamped upon
Within my own shadows
Recluse, outcast
And what's worse
Devoid of life

Gee
Reads like commuter hell. Everybody a stranger even though daily they meet, gone social skills as the age of tech, phones rules.
Good morning

About
I come from the Czech Republic. I've been studying English for several years (I am just about to finish my studies). I started writing "poetry" that doesn't rhyme in Czech, but one day I lapsed into E.. more..
