Pranayama

Pranayama

A Poem by Kate

As long as Pranayama
Expands your ribcage
Inflates your lungs and
The sternum protects your heart
Keeping you alive
Invincible you will become
It won't matter
Whether you varnish
Your world perception
Black pink green or white
Wetting brushes
And making them slide
Into blobs of now
Not what will what was
Why and how
Into directions with no limitations
Striated like muscles
Smooth as visceral organs
Played by notes of body clocks
As long as your goal
Is within reach or in embryo
Banishing a moth
Worming into your sole
As long as
You quiet your mind
Discern the truth
Of a powerful height
Navigating your intuitive child
Detached from all boredom
Experienced
On a wrongly chosen path
And you rummage
In the reservoir
Of your silent voice
As a never hushing ghost
As long as you
Steady yourself
Steady your mind
Take off your shoes
And get high
...
You will be fine
