We'll follow
the road
To our next port of call
Which we yet don't know
Spurred by our assignation
Being so far the purpose
Of all generations
Of all our folks
Who have always known
The secret behind
A conjugal bond
Behind mustering courage
To cross bridges of
Petty squabbles and tiffs
Best darned
With kissing lips thousand times
We'll fawn on
Every dawn to make
Our amour a true love
Warding off wars
Segregation based on the complexion
Manipulation inflicted by religion
We'll deadhead dandelions
Of condescension
Class distinctions
Political debacles
Gold rush pseudo-carnivals
On and on and on
Singing the same song
As we go against the flow
Cleansing human puss
And mistakes never learnt
From the past
We'll salute the Sun
And revere glittering stars
A cemetery hanging in the sky
Of our fathers and mums
Of marital struggles and joys
Sometimes causing
Electrifying thunder or snowstorms
Glinting on moonlit ponds
Plugging flowers of peace
Dancing to frogs' chorus with ease
Eradicating troubles
On our travels
We'll pick up languages
As we go
As we row our boats
Letting our masts succumb
To wind blows
Until we transform
All the pitiful
Pathetic human wrong
We'll meet halfway
In our embettered home
Celebrating love
For its undeniable cure
