Love through DentistryA Poem by KateI am like the feather Dangling on the review mirror Probing your eyes Tickling your shoulder Sawing your gums Sewing your weakening power
I am like a yogin Lotusing on a saucer I am like a wizard Sandwiched between two trees Like a sausage Wedged between your knees Whose runny mustard of belief Has decreased Into minus degrees
Clinging of dirty dishes Cracking of loosened teeth Trays abundant in autoclaves Heavily laden with instruments Sogged with blood and pain Torture squeaking like tyres - Out from hand-pieced drilling Of dentists' wicked feelings Into cavities of Their seated victims - Out from the insides Of opening mouths Wider and wider... ...Make my fluid boil Like a dead salmon Burning in an aluminium foil
A blade of grass Is surfing on the ripples Ruffled by my naked arse Similarly like you used to Drive your tongue In licking motions On my bony paths A blade of razor Is scolding my scalp Scooping out a fluff of hair Like scraping an omelette Out from a hissing pan
And I am draining my blood From pulsing vessels as... To summon platelets To heal our scabs To close all the gaps To bridge archipelagos To build cornerstones Of our own home... And to unplug Blunt tips of dentistry Sharpening your tongue Into a dishonest tapestry
