Flight

Flight

A Poem by Kate

Pure purification

After a long suffocation

Eyes as red as that of a rabbit

Whose whiskers are hopping

Across my path

To let me share the ground

To sign me my fate

By brownish hairs

"Let's go this way

To the lost fairy-tale

Follow my midget tail"

Instead of laying cards

Into seven piles

As to read future

As to reveal its naked arse

-       Like the Scottish

-       Before a middle-age fight

Of what may come

Of what may elude my life

One look into your eyes

I can see para and yes dise

Surfing your body

I am having fun

In my room upholstered

In a British sensational style

On the seat so upright

Feeling the heat

Building by my side

From my holding your arm

Resting on the heaven's light

Coursing through me...

... through you

Evaporating

And me invigorating

A muffed sound

From the captain's mouth

Announcing our flight

Cannot disturb my gluing

To your half-closed palm

Your thumb exploring

Lines of the destiny carved

With every day's ticking

With clockwise shuffling

Of a tall and a short hand

Synchronized like a band

Into my ringed middle finger

Full of silver

Leaving its neighbour

Rather barer

Waiting for your proposal

Swishing on a wing

Chopping time

Like the chef's knife onion bulbs

Into disfigured chunks

Building up preciousness

Spent together...

Whenever a chance

Springs up from splendour

Of a free-off-work dance

A sheer madness

Bashed my heart

An arrow shot by a cupid

By an innocent culprit

Blamed for blasphemy

Against the God

Shrieked as I am being pecked

By a blunt beak

Of his equipment

His beary body

Soaring above

Though my spirits are not

Is guarding my shattered soul

Until I find

A firm footing

Underneath my sluggish stride

You are my lucky strike!
