You're -ed not -ingA Poem by Kate
You're scared
Perturbed Disturbed You're -ed not -ing What a riddle To remember! You kneel down You clasp your hands You sway You chant You pray You whisper air Into its cracks Of drugs Of vapours Of monk's sweat You mime The cues of your heart Dictated from an unzipped scar Running along its Plump breast track Of redundant milky fat Like a fly Copying the slant In between your thighs You stare You suffer You hum The melody of your love Filling in musical gaps Not heard yet Every note sung By an unlost thread Brings extasy on his tongue Waltzing around My mountain cloud Making me come To the tea house Of meditative trance What an orgasmic dance! You drum your fingers Along the mantel Laden with photos Of you being a maiden You pat and tap The frame's corner Of a dead shade Thrown on the past Of your lust You reminisce You retrospect You manoeuvre Your enemy loser You take it in your stride You take stock of your life You sit your venerable bum On the queen's throne Familiarised with tobacco! One more smoke Before burrying yourself In a coffin of odes Before kidding your soul About infinite nonexistent roam! © 2015 Kate |
