Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams

A Poem by xxAddiction_to_Subscriptionxx
"

A dream gone wrong.

"

When its time to sleep

My mother tucks me in bed

She smiles and says

I love you very much dear

As she kisses me.

I love my mother so much

She is everything.

While walking to my door

She turns off my light

She looks at me and tells me

I love you goodnight.

When the door shuts to my room

I start to get scared

Cause thats when the demons come

They talk to me in

Words that I can't understand

Words with no meaning

Words that I can't comprehend

Kill her they shout out

You only need us to love

But I love my mom

I would rather die than kill

The one that I love.

So then out of nowhere a

Demon appears

A knife in the hand and a

Mace in the other.

It tells me to stop fighting

And just to give in

But I love my mother so

Much I have to win.

It lunges at me and I

Dodge to attack

By forcing the knife in its

Neck it shrieks and dies

I saved the one that I

Love so much to death.

That moring I woke to see

A frantic sight

Blood was on my bed and

The clothes that I

Slept in and my hands

As red as the sea

My mother was on the floor

Of my room with a

Small pocket knife she gave me

From my last birthday.

Crying as I see my mom

Lying on my floor

She was the one that I loved

One I adored

But I guess they were right that

All I need is them

Cause the one that I loved

Is dead on my floor

And the words that are left

In my head to love

Are my friends now and not mom.

Goodbye my mother.
