The knowing moonA Poem by Jo Jezebel
Oh wondrous moon there you are,
Smiling at me from afar, In a galaxy that is star spangled Why do emotions get so tangled? I ask you moon why do they think I'm a loon? I pray to you to keep me safe. In your glow I feel a warm embrace, It comforts me to see Your face. I feel so alone in this space. But I'm just a part of this human race and quite frankly we are a disgrace. In our oceans sea life fight even the birds have lost their plight. Man just screams in the night about our world and offers little in return. Nothing but glory nothing to behold all they do is dig the gold and acts all bold. I feel guilty every day just trying to find my way... Filling hours days and weeks just trying to get off the merry-go-round Life really can be quite profound... Secrets hidden of a past that wasn't a blast..... But really moon I talk to you....and you answer simply I LOVE YOU...... You are loved, you are cherished just see what is before you and listen child you ought not to act so wild... Listen to mother nature calling...you will see a future... May be that you have a child... someone tender, meek and mild. It is your calling it is your wish...so to your husband for a kiss. He protects you now not me said the moon and he doesn't think you are a loon... © 2018 Jo Jezebel |
