1994 (for Patricia Mupfeki)

A Poem by Baldwin Mupfeki

You were intelligent; had it all
Of the lot in our yesteryears
Life fucked you early, it did!
Yes, for its selfish reasons!
All to lye in waste, buried!
Somehorw to think of it,
I think, i wonder...?
All jambled, hazy-
We were young,
5's by then,
F**k, life's lame horse!
But when your presence exists,
On Maggie my workmate-
Haunted.
(RIP)
