To Judy who taught me poetry

To Judy who taught me poetry

A Poem by Baldwin Mupfeki

Glad l can post, not that l am
better, but of courage
to withstand criticism.

Not that l was ever
in need of poetry Judy,
but floating on the platform
with poetic brushes setting
the vivid scene ablaze-

To rhyme
in rhyme
with rhythm
for rythm
in rhyme!

To poetry,
To all, Judy,
...l ever needed!
To Judy who taught me,
poetry!
