Lovers are leavers

Lovers are leavers

A Poem by Baldwin Mupfeki

...like two coastal ships,
passing each other in the night,
Life has to move on, for
tomorrow is another day.

They know what its like,
to cement a unison;
One which never stood
a test of time,
They know what its like,
to struggle, struggle,
and struggle;
To never get there.

Memory holds them prisoners,
Sentenced to who they could never be!
Here is to love,
To one dish,
To one, one
without a recipe!
