Ambering of the lost sunA Poem by Baldwin Mupfeki
Like a seam that slid
near the seal of the world, paling and yellowing tomorrow's raylings. Eying the West, seeming likea drop of burning gold signalling its farewell to lost souls; Lost in the bluings of the horizon ushering doubts of its spring as clouds put shatters upon its ambers, dooming it to a disfigured lifeless black; bearing a quititude of death. Daisies whiskering, in despair; Moths unnestled lying in lifeless cocoons, To a life stolen on a brink of an earthly nightmare, To a decaying sun in the wake of an early rising millenium! Its ambers sing of farewell to earthlings, in vain of unknown lyrics to the auditorium! © 2015 Baldwin Mupfeki |
