Reccuring Dreams

Reccuring Dreams

A Poem by Baldwin Mupfeki

Masked icons crawl by,
To decipher we're fooled of!
Of rivers, of forests, of strangers:
Seers discern, "Marine spirits"
Psychics prod, "Spiritual wives"
Pastor shouts, "Deliverance!"
'Townies' utter, "Its minor"
Destiny awaits at hem;
Of unmasked spiritual worlds,
Nestling future presentiments
We cry to Fate; to Destiny!
