A poem about Time.....Sophomore effort really.

The Power of Time

 

 

 

 

 

 

Time is always present,

But we never see it.

Pleasant or unpleasant,

We are forced to submit.

 

 

Time enslaves us,

Making us the prisoner.

Never make a fuss,

For time is the executioner.

 

 

Time moves fast,

And we shall not wait.

When we fall at last,

It will be too late.

 

 

Time is merciless,

Like a psychopath.

If we are careless,

We will feel the wrath.

 

 

Now that you have understand,

Remember to be wise.

For when Time has the upper hand,

We will meet our demise.
