the gravity

of your words

weigh upon me

like snow

on redwood trees.

 

you stifle

my resolve

with silence…

a droning hum

that extinguishes

the breath of me.

yes. was on an extended vacation in Singapore, Nov until just before Xmas. then just after I got back was hit by a car while out walking (thankfully no broken bones, but tissue injury limited the amount of time I could sit without discomfort) so writing was painful, and limited.
