Here is a list of the definitive roles of the femme fatales mentioned above. They are, in my opinion, the classic Hollywood Noir. Barbara Stanwyck for “Double Indemnity”, Rita Hayworth for “Gilda”, Lauren Bacall for “Key Largo”, and Joan Crawford for “Mildred Pierce”.

Rainy days can bring comfort, providing you are on the inside looking out. Plenty to be thankful for. Love an oversize sweater and that pot of chili sounds so inviting, as are the books and movies. It’s raining cats and dogs here today. I reckon I’m going to enjoy it. Fabulous poetry Kelly, as always when I knock on your window.
A pot of chili on a rainy day... why, of course! You describe very well how we feel when the weather isn't nice, and our inclination to stay warm, dry, and well-fed--both physically and mentally. But I thought it never rained in southern California? (I'm kidding. It actually snowed in the late fall of '67--I was there)

I preder rainy days ... the soundof rain hitting the roof or the wind puashig it hard against the window panes.

It sounds like the perfect rainy day scenario to me Kelly. It is so wonderfully written and creates vivid images and teases the senses with your well chosen words and phrases. It’s actually quite magical. Really love this one!

I love those rainy days where the only thing you want to do is laze around in PJs, watch movies, romcoms for me, cause they are silly and have a touch of hope within them, and sometimes just watch the rain coming down and see the wonder of nature. It's also a good day to write poetry like you seem to have done Kelly. Thank you for the share!!

do we all live the same life?? no experience is truly subjective, but art is. no one else could have expressed it like that and that's what makes art special.
to be able to tell the same event in different ways and you are absolutely brilliant at it. I definitely found myself and every line came to life with a different story in my head. oh I'm so happy I read this. how sublime a poet can do this! noble!
