Here is a list of the definitive roles of the femme fatales mentioned above. They are, in my opinion, the classic Hollywood Noir. Barbara Stanwyck for “Double Indemnity”, Rita Hayworth for “Gilda”, Lauren Bacall for “Key Largo”, and Joan Crawford for “Mildred Pierce”.

Well with inches of snow, I know what I'm doing today! A tribute to rain should be a glance into the wonderment and love of all things miserable and wet but what is more wondrous than this list? Not sure about the pot of chili though? It's more of a winter/ snowy thing for me but pass the spoon and Happy Heart Day to you as well...when it comes of course~

I am falling in love with your writing. In this poem you so beautifully describe an ordinary day we have all experienced, making me look at it anew, making me feel I am there with you. The final lines say so much with so few words. Just lovely.

Good to be lost in someone eyes dear Kelly. A rainy day. A day to catch-up. Beautiful dance of words shared. I hope you are doing well and keeping warm.

But a woman's prerogative is to change her mind, right? I'll be editing it soon. Thanks for the prompt! We'll talk soon!
Rain is a magical blessing: great for the earth, great for the human - roots, spirits et al! YOUR words nudges the core, make music on the window pane and outdoors' metal - as long as it resists over-play! And in your words, brings everything spirit and heart could ask for in things wrapped in a large dose of love and comfort! Many thanks for sharing! Beautifully said

The only time I do not love the rain is when the snow turns into it. Thank you, Emma!

Yet more: place 'ra' = sun with 'in' .. and you have a glorious rainbow!
Very well done. Loved the nod to Bogart and Orson... made me feel like the first snow of the season and what we call Quilt and Cocoa weather. We are having one of those days currently ready for some classic film as mental pablum.
