lay with me

in this cusp of autumn

beneath an umbrella of crimson red

oh, how the trees are lovely

this time of year,

vermilion leaves pirouetting down

in a whirlwind dance

scrapbooking pages

for  poets

and sages.

I really must learn to sip more slowly of your ink mistress K .. and likewise to savour every drop which of course is almost impossible not to .. however, I must also confess upon my first reading enroute to the shower ..
