Wind Songs in Acappella

Wind Songs in Acappella

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

Wind Songs in Acappella

another June precipitates days

of sun bleached hair

weekends of cocoa buttered skin

and volley ball beaches

with Picasso sunsets

and margarita evenings

as seagulls in adept formation

gather wind songs  in acappella.

I enjoyed the very vivid descriptions. I like how a few words can describe so much. like Picasso sunsets and margarita evenings. You create an immediate ilustration. Very beautiful summer poem =)

I can feel the warmth of the sun and picture lively games of volleyball on the beach. The cocoa butter is wafting in the breeze while the sunset reflects a peaceful look of contentment. The margarita is icing on the cake. I love this beautiful write that touches deeply all of the senses. Another stunning piece Kelly!
