A Syntax of Words

it is here

in a staccato format

where my muted words

come into viable existence

here

in a Poor Richard font

bleeding syllables and nouns

with lilting metaphors

all in a syntax of words

void of punctuation

The greatest blessing of all is that we have so many formats, fonts, and formations from which to choose. There is enough room for individuality and appreciation in them all. None of us are the same so our journey is different, our destinations uncertain. Yours is certainly greatness. Well done.

Boom…mic drop. You rock with this clever, concise, soaring poem dear Kelley. Freedom to write, in or out of bounds, is freedom to fly free… Poetry and poets untethered. WC is the launching pad and you do it so proud. Reading in, out, and in between the lines of your Master Class writing is always a joy and a lesson in creation. You inspire and the words love you. So do I!

Its always my pleasure dear Kelly. ⚘
How is that you purchased at least 3 boxes full of cut out alphabet letters and threw them all up into the air, and then watching them scatter onto your table randomly to create this kaleidoscope of a poem, ever shifting patterns . . .

Basically, a beautiful poetic flow chart of how it is done though what is missing is the secret that you possess that gives each piece its own heartbeat, its own smile, its own wonderful way about it that allows it to stand out in a crowd. What you didn't teach us is how to infuse the "Kelly Factor". Maybe someday I will learn that part. : )

This is so creative. A very clever catchy poem that sums up the building blocks involved in most writing with a special stamp that has ‘Kelly’ written on it. I can imagine you had a lot of fun with this one!

I love the way you brought these words to life, a parody of poetic terms and styles which poets use in various forms.... My poetry is almost mostly simple imagery, sometimes metaphors .... no capital letters, no periods, commas, sometimes.......you really know how to knock out such meaningful script with so few words....excellent brevity!

Hi Kelly. I pondered on how each of us writers present our words and how varied we all are. My own style has changed quite significantly. I no longer concentrate on punctuation, my earlier formatting much more traditional on the eye. As a reader I go with the flow. You expertly sum up here so much in your usual knock out brevity.

To each, his or her style. We all prefer different formatting. I like the traditional ways, but others like freedom from all. Whatever works or affects the reader in many ways.
Excellent poetic summation of a specific way.

a modernist tour de force. clever, but too much so; philosophical, in just the right ways; sassy and bold, all the way. I adore the bleeding syllables and nouns, what life's all about. bueno bueno bueno
