it seems as if the relationship is getting more divided, as you use your words carefully to describe a rift as big as the ocean, not knowing yet what will transpire on your new course, "uncharted course"
so now you are alone but willing to forgive "my heart remains in absolution" ...this is beautiful, with so much important emotions in a brevity poem....
Excellent!

Your presence here is most appreciated, Betty. Thank you for your perspective and compliments!
If you can release the anger and hurt and forgive, then you are on the way to healing. It is a lonely path and it can take time. Been there and done that Kelly. This five liner is beautiful in its brevity. It says so much and touches the reader on an emotional level.

Writing surely can be a catharsis Kelly. You compose beautifully.
A lovely Poem of forgiveness… I always Observe the Moon now that we moved into an old two-story House with all the Bedrooms upstairs with Large Windows … quite an Observatory all year round. A half Moon is a Promise. Love , Pat

It's nothing but sky, and quite a photo opportunity for capturing sunsets. I am a moon child at heart, being a Cancerian. I didn't know that about a half moon. Thanks, Pat!

dear Kelly... I just felt compelled that a half moon is a Promise. gently, Pat
Is it ok that I am here first? Too bad because like a gift under the tree, a new poem by you is something to be excited about. A short and simple poem that conveys a message and a feeling that this reader easily feels. The distance between, the silent miles, the shadows and courses that follow and lead, the night when a moon is the only visitor that smiles on this lonely voyage. Your pen scrobes light as a feather as your soft poem echoes melodically across the page.

Is it ok? Will, are you really are as wonderful as you seem? I am slowly finding out more and more.. read moreIs it ok? Will, are you really are as wonderful as you seem? I am slowly finding out more and more about you in these fabulous reviews you leave me, and I find myself at a loss for words every time. I hesitated posting this, thinking people would shy away from its brevity. But I truly believe that's what defines it. I'll never be able to thank you enough for the praise and compliments given. And just for the record, you can always be first! Love and light, my friend!
